|Eddie's book on Volunteering|
Volunteering is a way to partner with others who are like-minded and become a part of a community. I hope that you can find an organization or group to lock arms with for a worthy cause.
What I like the most about volunteering is that it allows me to contribute to the well-being of others. This is something that we all long to do at some level. We feel joy and happiness when we can help others.
There over 62 million volunteers in the United States according to the Corporation for National Community Service and there are many nonprofits to choose from to serve with (approximately 1.5 million).
Free Coaching Session
If you are a leader in an organization who works with volunteers feel free to reach out to me. I am offering (for a limited time) a free 30 minute coaching session on How to Cultivate Passionate Volunteers and Leaders. During that time you will be able to pick my brain and ask me questions. You can email me at email@example.com to request a free session. I hope to hear from you.
Below are some links on volunteering you might find helpful along your volunteering journey. Please feel free to leave comments about your experiences volunteering. I have also included volunteer opportunities to partner with me and the organizations that I work with below.
