Steve The Hamster's Great Escape
Our newest addition to our family is a hamster called "Steve the Magnificent." My son Andrew came up with the name. He stresses that he is not just "Steve" but that the magnificent part has to be added on when saying his name.
I came home from work one evening and the boys and my wife introduced me to him. It was a big surprise. They told me he was just too adorable and they needed to rescue him from the pet store. He is now very loved by every member of our family (including me).
In this video he escapes his enclosed habitat. He has escaped a couple times where we couldn't find him for hours. This time I caught him on tape. He is a pretty nifty little guy. I hope you enjoy the video.

Too cute. Thank you for sharing Steve with us. Watching this little hamster makes me think that no one told him "you can't get out" because he certainly could, regardless of how difficult.
Thanks Rasz,
I hope he brings a smile to many people. : )
Welcome to the world of hamsters. You may have to rename him Houdini. We had a couple of hamsters and it seemed they would constantly escape, they're very clever, that's for sure, yet ohhh so cute.
Thanks Heather. We have guinea pigs too and turtles. The hamster is the only one that gets out. They are clever.
