Children are like a huge story book
They want you to read them and find the hook
The hook that they hide that reveals who they are
The hook that uncovers that bright shining star
The shining star who loves simple things
Not money, not fame, not gold diamond rings
Just love, joy, happiness and peace
Peace that is within a child's heart indeed
Children know the real meaning of life
They know secret things that make it alright
Alright to laugh, alright to cry
Alright to smile, alright to be shy
Shy to strangers that are not their own
Shy to dangers that are unknown
Precious children have precious thoughts
It is very important to watch what they watch
Protect their little hearts from things unsafe
Make sure they grow up right and straight
Children are like a huge story book

The hook that introduces you into their mind
Open your heart, look and find
