Freedom From Despair
By Eddie Zacapa

Despair, hopelessness and its brew -
turns the heart black. Despair's friend resentment
eventually spreads and finds a home.

The consequence - losing one's way, wandering aimlessly,
stimulation of pain and spirals of misfortune.

Light, life (unconditional love) will refresh and
heal the heart.

Drink from the divine well, the fountain of love.

Sprinkle grace on
all the wounds that need
healing. The parts of yourself that are
lost in self-hatred, fear and
blame.

Full of longing ...
breathe in the divine.

Let love rule all.

Like a river, let love flow through you.

Note: I recommend reading this poem three times daily if you are stuck in despair.
